What the label says:

‘Hometown Glory’ is the latest single from her platinum debut album ‘19’ that has already sold over 40,000 copies in the UK alone and over 700,000 worldwide in just 4 months. Her last single ‘Cold Shoulder’ followed her previous hit ‘Chasing Pavements’ to the Number One slot in the Airplay charts.    Adele has just finished her second UK tour to much acclaim. She is currently on tour in Canada and America and is due to appear on the legendary David Letterman Show in the run up to her album being released over there. She will also be appearing at the Montreaux Jazz Festival, before jetting off to Japan for her first live dates there. Not leaving the UK out, Adele is also headlining Somerset House in London in July.
‘Hometown Glory’ will be released with a brand new track, a cover of the Etta James song ‘Fool That I Am’, which was recorded live at her recent gig in Cambridge. The 12” features remixes from High Contrast.

About the humble 7":

The humble 7" is the smallest of the vinyl formats (not including the ridiculous 5") and it's the perfect medium for transporting a couple of new songs by up and coming bands straight into your ears. They're fun and they take up less space in your house than something bigger would. They come in a plethora of exciting colours and fantastical packages, and you can fit about 14 minutes onto one 7". You may have to get up every few minutes to put a new record on but think of the exercise. Don't forget every record you buy plays at least 2 speeds (depending on your stereo) and you need to play all records on all speeds to get the maximum joy from your purchase.
