 This record left our Ant feeling happy.
B12 are always worth a sniff... So here we have their 'Last Days Of Silence' album remixed on CD and picture disc. I'd say if you were a fan of the album then this is a neat little friend to have play with it. 8 tracks on the CD and 4 on the picture disc. It's decent quality techno basically with rich melodies that make for a deep listening experience. More than adequate to cold chill to post rave. Not that I get out anymore. Although I like their new material I just can't help but feel the older material is superior. I think I've said that before... I'm such an old fuddy duddy. What's a fuddy duddy? Some pretty fresh sounds on here though and the beatier moments are proper quality head nodding gear. The Redcell remix of 'More Than One' is a particularly lush tune.

* The Last Days album built successfully on the ethos set down by B12 in 1990 when they started their own music output on B12 Records, to provide music for listening and dancing. It was described by DJ magazine as "mesmerising Detroit explorations 4.5/5" and by M8 magazine as "epic electronica with a touch of darkness".
* This limited remix release concentrates on the listening rather than dancing and brings the duo’s perfect atmospheres, melodies, moods and beats together to create a new take on the best of their album, in a way that only B12 are capable of.
