Mercury Rev next. I still adore Deserter's Songs, have done for nigh on a decade but can't really bring mesen to give 2 shits about anything they've done since. I'm the same with all these "cosmic" American bands really. I want fucked noise and shouting right now, not Fujiya & Miyagi remixes. Although I must admit after The Lovely Eggs, 'Senses on Fire' Kraftwerk-ed up by James Holden is a blessed relief to these tired ears. He's a master of blissed techno travelogues is old Holden and this has everyone floating around the office in little space capsules. Except Brett who's still glaring at his desk like a very pissed off warrior. Think those Lovely Eggs types better not play Leeds as there'll be a dark ninja shadow waiting by the stage door for them afterwards. Back to the job in hand, Just buy this for the lovely Holden mix, it's proper nice. Do you blame me for not flipping over & checking the "Carlos Anthony Molina "4 On The Flux" mix of 'Butterfly's Wing'? Thought not...
