There's a new single from the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion who have apparently been going since the 50's so a pop friend told me. The 5th single in their legendary In The Red singles series. I'm told the 1st few singles have been selling for thousands of pounds each on Ebay. Anyway this is a blues punk rock fest and is more lofi than the recent album. That is, it's not produced quite as well. I prefer this though. I was talking to Atomic Kitten the other day and all 3 of them are going out with Mt Spencer. The feline ladies told me they were going to do a tribute EP to man called Spencer in their own agro blues rock pop style. They were so impressed by his agressive blues rock style that they couldn't resist the offer of a tribute album when their label offerred it to them. Get your pre orders now folks (ignore this-Phil....) Ghetto Mom is 7" only
