 This record left our Brian feeling happy.
British Sea Power are one of those supposed under-achieving Brit
bands who about ten people like but judging by the frantic post punk outburst
of the opener of 'The Decline Of.. (their debut) which sounds more like
the Dead Kennedys meets The Birthday Party to me, then I
reckon we've got 'em all wrong. Much more kicking & vibrant than the
singles suggest, I advise checking out this best kept secret of ours!
A really nice surprise much like the last Clearlake album! Rough
Trade might just have some new unsung potential legends on their roster!
CD only & cheap for the the initial run so be quick!
