Rating: ecstatic This record left our Clint feeling ecstatic.

K Records has been around for a while. The brainchild of extremely deep voiced Beat Happening/Dub Narcotic singer Calvin Johnson. Recently its re-emerged with a mixture of the old type K people with some extra post rocky type folks. Here we have a cheap compilation sampler type thing of their recent releases ranging from the wonderful (the Blow and Mirah should be megastars), to the interesting (COCO, Microphones) to the old school K pop ( Beat Happening, Tender Trap, Calvin Johnson) to the drifty (Yume Bitsu, Landing) to Captain Beefheart tributes (Old Time Relijun) to people I want to strangle with my own bare hands (All Girl Summer Fun Band). Well worth £4.45 of anyones money.....
