New single from Bitmap (the man out of Salako,  pop pickers). It's ok acoustic upbeat pop with an awful guitar screech getting right in the way. Sounds very much like David Bowie. The first track is taken from their recent album and features the quickest fade in recorded music history. There's also 4 previously unreleased tracks the first of which sounds very much (well exactly) like Beck.  Black Arts In Town Hall Ep IS cd ONLY What the label says: Four new and previously unreleased slices of binary pop genius accompany the title track, including a collaboration with reclusive label-mate Husband.

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
