Assassinator 13 is the new single by strangepop combo Chikinki. On big label Island, this is a mighty bizarre hybrid between a Red Hot Chilli Peppers Anthony Kiedis sound-a-like & a more new wave Soul Coughing. They'd sound totally unique if Simian hadn't have already explored this route several times already. That's not to say this doesn't have real merit cos it most certainly does. Electro pop & acoustic balladry bizarrely slot together side by side on the B-sides!
