What we say This record left our Brian feeling unmoved. The Chemical Brothers have had their time as far as I'm concerned. Like any band that's been trawling the seas of the musical genre they've helped shape for over 10 years, they've become stale & predictable. 'Get Yourself High' is  the new single & it's not actually that bad. Polished technoelectrofunk with Radio 1 A-list play inevitable. Personally, the one for me is their 'Live at the Heavenly social' CD from 8 years ago. Now THAT rocks like a bastard. CD & Double 12" is yer formats

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
