Rating: ecstatic This record left our Phil feeling ecstatic.

The boys have kindly left me 2 of my favourite albums I've heard so far this year. The 1st 'un being by Cass Mccombs on 4AD. It's called 'A' as in 'A is for alphabet', 'B is for bugger' etc...... This is a gorgeous album full of pop gems. Sounding like a less demented Daniel Johnston and a little like Richard Hawley without the 50's influence this is tops. Ultimately it's the tunes that shine through and the majority here are superb. What Isn't nature is just sooooooo good. Damned classy stuff indeed....
