What we say This record left our Phil feeling happy. Hello y'all. The Hope Of The States single has just landed in my wee pile. Lordy me I like this......Reminds me of Spiritualized when they were good. Also the chaps vocals in the chorus bring Liam Gallagher to mind in that snarly way. This is a great tune..... the last single was OK but this one is loads better and it reminds me of the greatness of that 1st EP. Wow! Bits of Godspeed in there as well..... On limited 7", regular CD and a limited CD2 which (like the 7") has stars cut out in the sleeve which makes it aesthetically pleasing to look at as well as listen to! Class... One per person!!

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
