Finally a CD/10" has arrived on a label called Seldom by a band called OK Junior who have been championed by XFM & featured in the NME. according to the sticker on the back. It sounds like a perfectly competent blend of lo-fi folk & muffled trip-hop beats with spacey vocals. Sounds very much like another band but honestly, I swear, none of us can think of who. I think they're Scottish. Primal Scream? No way. Mogwai? Naaah.... Mull Historical Society? Get outta here! Ooh bugger....this is really troubling us here at the towers. Nah you got us. Sounds like no-one else then. Honest. Totally stumped we are...Can anyone help by buying it & maybe dropping an e-mail with the header "It Sounds Exactly Like The Beta Band You Planks" Cheers....
