Some of their tracks have gone right below my radar in the tune stakes but 'Love Is An Unfamiliar Name' is a fine number indeed, on a par with the excellent 'Dark Is Light Enough'. A compulsive, voodoo mantra that builds up, then twists & snakes it's way into yr brain. The other side of the PJ Harvey rip off cannon. Top tune however & the chick who sings is well foxy etc. Coloured vinyl 7"/2xCDs

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
