Rating: happy This record left our Phil feeling happy.

Am so with some joy and glee I have another Darren Hayman thing to review. Him of Hefner fame.... It's a CDEP on Acuarela called Cortinaland This is more like Hefner than the 7" from last week, ie it's not all toytown-y/ electronic as he has a full band accompanying the evil. Though in all fairness I'm always willing to be proved wrong. In fact I actively seek it cos I get such a kick out of apologising to people. People love it and they'll love you for doing it. It's really great. Psychology aside this is actually an enjoyable indie romp along the lines of Hefner and other playful twee indie fair. Who'd have thought it......
