Magnet have a limited dbl pack 7" out and randomly inserted inside 200 of them are signed lyric sheets and inside one of 'em you get win the chance to go to Norway for a magical magnet experience. Only I've opened 'em all, taken out the golden ticket and I've won and I'm off! Sound familiar? Chocolate Wanker and the Charlie Factory perhaps? Anyway I haven't really opened 'em all and someone out there could win. I opened one to play it and there were 2 x 7" on yellow vinyl and a Magnet sticker. Boring......  Sensitive indie rock for you if you care about what it sounds like. But you could win a trip to Norway which sounds really exciting. Makes me want to buy 'em all so I can go and spear some whales!

About the humble 7":

The humble 7" is the smallest of the vinyl formats (not including the ridiculous 5") and it's the perfect medium for transporting a couple of new songs by up and coming bands straight into your ears. They're fun and they take up less space in your house than something bigger would. They come in a plethora of exciting colours and fantastical packages, and you can fit about 14 minutes onto one 7". You may have to get up every few minutes to put a new record on but think of the exercise. Don't forget every record you buy plays at least 2 speeds (depending on your stereo) and you need to play all records on all speeds to get the maximum joy from your purchase.
