Quite miles apart then, from Estonia's Pia Fraus. We have a 12" remix project in and I can hear My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Lush & long forgotten if ever ever acknowledged North East outfit The Lavender Faction. That's the original version of 'Chromatic Knights' anyhow. Bill Wells gives it an underwater jazz club re-rub that makes me wanna order mushroom smoothies in the Cafe Del Mar whilst other remixers include Pastacas, Galaktlan & Mondii. How much time have I to review these? None but rest assured they're atmospheric, ethereal & ambient in nature & very, very lovely sounding. invest!
