What we say
This record left our Phil feeling happy.
So Brian thinks it's funny giving me the Belle & Sebastian new
album (The Life Pursuit) to review. Long term readers will know of my particular
love for 'em. Giving me this to review is like putting a load of dead meat in
front of a lion after it's not eaten for days and expecting it to leave it
alone. Having said that I've grown older, have discovered the joys of Nick
Drake and have just listened to some screeching industrial noise for 2 hours
so my ears are actually looking forward to it....... and I still don't like
it...... They don't annoy me like they used to but I just can't get my head
around them at all. Hey I tried and how polite am I being? It's not bad at all,
nice and poppy.... it's just not my sort of music. Never before has such reason
been seen before on the Norman site....
