 This record left our Phil feeling happy.
Something else that I've thoroughly taken to this week is The Delgados
dbl CD set (that's 2 x CD....) on Chemikal Underground. Yes their
complete BBC Peel Sessions have been lovingly compiled into one handy
compilation thingy. I've kind of fallen out of favour with a lot of indie music
lately. In fact most of it has really pissed me off. Listening to this gives me
some faith that there are still folks out there making quality guitar indie.
Admittedly these are all well old (from 1995 to 2004) but they sound really valid
and collectively they form one of the strongest indie albums I've heard in ages.
Well good. I normally hate anything longer than a single CD and the 1st 2 things
this week are 2 and 3 CD sets (doubles and triples....)...
