Lordy me.... a new Wedding Present CD single. It's painful to listen to 'em these days. I saw 'em at the Leeds festival and I've never seen a more boring band in my life. I didn't even realise they were on stage for a good 20 minutes. Not enormously flattering I know. Not disputing they weren't great in their hayday or anything cos they had some top tunes but these days I'd rather break all my fingers in lots of different places than have to listen to them. Anyway the new snoozathon of a single is in and if you listen closely you'll be able to hear the sound engineer snoring in the background. zzzzzzzzzzzzz

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
