Rating: happy This record left our Phil feeling happy.

The 1st of 4 new split 7"'s on a new label to us called Filthy Little Angels. They're all colour coded as well (ie blue sleeve, blue vinyl etc...) So starting with the 1st 'un (which is the blue one!) by The Favours and The International Karate Plus. The Favours are good old fashioned female fronted raucous indie pop not unlike stuff like Ladyfuzz etc. Glad to see this sort of thing coming back in. Flip it over to International Karate Plus and this reminds me of the early 90's US indie scene bringing bands like The Grifters, Sammy, Seam and Superchunk. Pretty damned good....
