What you say
No-one has reviewed The Future Crayon by Broadcast yet.
What we say
This record left our Ant feeling unmoved.
Phil likes BROADCAST and Ant doesn't so that's my link to the review of The new
Broadcast
album. Terrible I know. I'll understand if you can't bare to read on...
So 'The Future Crayon' is basically a collection of 18 tracks taken
from rare & limited edition singles, EP's and compilations. It's
not that I dislike them, I just wouldn't say I liked them. The lady
does have a really sweet voice, you regular readers know I have a bit
of a soft spot for a sexy female voice. This lady could look like
Grotbags for all I know but if she came round mine I'd still get a
boner as soon as she opened her gob and started belting out those
sultry tones.
Warp have kindly compiled these works onto one handy CD and double vinyl. You
Broadcast
fans out there will more than likely have most of the tracks on here
possibly with the exception of 'Hammer Without a Master' which was
exclusive to
Warp's 'We Are Reasonable People' comp from 1998 and 'DDL' which
appeared on an All Tomorrows Parties compilation. I'm off to ATP in December. Can't
freakin' wait...
