What we say This record left our Ant feeling unmoved. The LOVES new single 'She'll Break You're Heart... Again' is a four track 7" that starts off sounding like The Dandy Warhols which has me quivering with fear about what to expect from the following three tunes. On the second track the intro sounds like Cornershop and then the track erupts into a raw nostalgic pop song that's reminiscent of The Troggs and fortunately doesn't make me want to take an angle grinder to my ears. On the flip you get a half drunken sounding acoustic country blues type number with someone whistling in it. Wow! I've just clocked the title and it's actually called 'My Sweet Drunken Blues (For You)'. I feel really clever now. Oooh. Brian tells me these guys/gals are Welsh like me. It's not all sheep and leeks there you know. (yes it fucking is x B) On Fortuna Pop.

About the humble 7":

The humble 7" is the smallest of the vinyl formats (not including the ridiculous 5") and it's the perfect medium for transporting a couple of new songs by up and coming bands straight into your ears. They're fun and they take up less space in your house than something bigger would. They come in a plethora of exciting colours and fantastical packages, and you can fit about 14 minutes onto one 7". You may have to get up every few minutes to put a new record on but think of the exercise. Don't forget every record you buy plays at least 2 speeds (depending on your stereo) and you need to play all records on all speeds to get the maximum joy from your purchase.
