Doom!!!!!!!! But in a good way if that is possible. Not as heavy and as crushing as Sunn O))) but just as effective, Wolfmangler's latest has to be one of the bleakest and mournful records I've heard in a long while. A slow moving beast, with horns (musically and metaphorically) and an overriding sense of dread. One for the winter months, that's for sure. Review date: 21 November 2006
