Here's the new single from POLYTECHNIC. I really like these lads. I think that last single they did was brilliant and this is a good 'un too. A tuneful piano led kick reminding me of the THE THRILLS or some other melody led act. Its ecstatic boy rock with a nasel and distinctive voice that cuts through the tear of the distortion swirl. Its called 'Man overboard' and its out on Shatterproof records. 7" only.

Polytechnic have already built up a good fanbase through their recent tour with The Young Knives, and also live dates with The Strokes, Doves and The Longcut.·The band are about to play the Transgressive Records Warehouse Project party in Manchester, along with other dates across the country. This release includes live club favourite ‘Fingertips’ as the B side. Steve Lamacq and Zane Lowe are fans, with plays on Radio 1 and on XFM. Fantastic animated video winging its way over to MTV2.
