What we say This record left our Ant feeling happy. I first heard 'Kingdom Of Doom' on a major label sampler a few weeks ago and it totally stood out from all the other crap on there. This is of course the new single from Damon Albarn's THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE QUEEN project. I have a great deal of respect for Albarn. It's just a shame he's putting this out through Parlophone and not directly through Honest Jons. That aside I cannot deny that this is indeed a deeply heartfelt atmospheric ,dark acoustic pop track. Comes on 2 different 7"s one of which is on red vinyl and digipak CD. What the label says: This is the second single from The Good, The Bad & The Queen and all formats contain exclusive tracks.

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
