What we say This record left our Brian feeling unmoved. Who are THE SEXUAL OBJECTS landing on my table with 2 slabs of quirky 60's inspired indie rock. AH! this is Davey Henderson from The Fire Engines, Win & Nectarine No.9 and there's a quirky hip swivelling feel to these loose, strummy retro tinged tunes, plus the whole history of Scots pop flowing through it's veins. It's not hugely original but there's deffo a passion there. This does not sound remotely anything like the unhinged cowbell/buzzsaw clatter of his first band so ignore any reviews that inform you otherwise. They've not listened to the bloody thing! Ltd 7" on Creeping Bent What the label says: The debut single by the SEXUAL OBJECTS is released on limited  7”.The SEXUAL OBJECTS is the new project by Davy Henderson (Fire Engines/The Nectarine No9). The debut single is a double A-side, the tracks being “Full Penetration” and “Midnight BoyCow”.The group are currently in the studio recording their 2nd single, which will be released in the Spring. About the humble 7":

The humble 7" is the smallest of the vinyl formats (not including the ridiculous 5") and it's the perfect medium for transporting a couple of new songs by up and coming bands straight into your ears. They're fun and they take up less space in your house than something bigger would. They come in a plethora of exciting colours and fantastical packages, and you can fit about 14 minutes onto one 7". You may have to get up every few minutes to put a new record on but think of the exercise. Don't forget every record you buy plays at least 2 speeds (depending on your stereo) and you need to play all records on all speeds to get the maximum joy from your purchase.
