Rating: happy This record left our Maggie feeling happy.

With an introduction like Tanita Tikaram's Good Tradition we're into the new single by BRIGHT EYES called Four Winds (insert rugby scrum fart gag). Love him or hate him he's certainly an influencial figure in the New York scene with every Tom Dick and Harry taking on the tortured vocal style of Conor Oberst. Pretty nice single really and although its without a breath taking moment it could be a real grower. B-side's got M Ward on guitar which is nice if ya got pals like that. A simple song which Conor seems to make sound terrifically important (Ant thinks he's about to burst into tears). Yeh I like.

The first single to be taken from the brand new album is ‘Four Winds’ which is released on 2nd April 2007. The single will consist of a CD & 2 x 7”s featuring exclusive b-sides.
