Milanese: "Adapt" (Planet Mu) Exploring the various strands that have emanated out of the post drum 'n' bass movement, Milanese pummels the drill 'n' bass template of Squarepusher/Aphex etc into industrial strength drops that are equally balanced between slamming drums and pulverising bass. The life in the 'Amen' break still has longevity and with artist and remixes adding the pace & feel of dub-step to the mix of mainly bass hits and noise.
