OVERVIEW: You have to have balls to name your new single, or dare we say, your new hit – 'D.A.N.C.E' - and in caps would you believe. But you can when you're called Justice and in all but 3 years have revolutionised dancefloors with tracks 'We Are Your Friends’ & 'Waters Of Nazareth' as well as remixing Franz Ferdinand and Britney Spears with the same cheekiness. Imagine the audacity of fusing, in less than five minutes, the entire history of dance music: from the sexual liberation of 70s disco to the gimmicky black funk of Chic, from dark 80s house to the ecstatic electro which lit up 90s raves and also from Daft Punk's French Touch to today's guitar riffs that are driving the kids wild. Take an innocent children's chorus backed by pulsing electronics and an arpeggiator that sends chills up your spine topped then top it off with Disco violins, nice! And what better way to make bodies move, since it is dance music after all, than a mastery of production that rocks the beat in the mould of great American producers like Timbaland, The Neptunes and Dr Dre. This is a hit that is ten years ahead of it's time, paying homage to the seminal house music of Larry Levan's remix of Sesame Street, 'D.A.N.C.E' by Justice is already a classic as their pop music influences continue to revolutionise dance music culture.

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
