Born from the ashes of Nylon Pylon, The Whip grew from two to four and now comprise of co-founders Bruce and Danny, along with Nathan and the lovely Fee. The band describe their sound as “Robocop – part man, part machine”. Crystal Castles come from Toronto. On their Myspace, under ‘influences’, they answer: murder, glazed-looked girls, knives. Wacky. ·‘Divebomb’ is also featured on the excellent ‘Maison 4’ compilation from Kitsune, due out at the end of June. And they sure are in good company. |
