What the label says:

"One of the greatest female singers working today" 5/5 Sunday Times

Feist, the wonderfully talented Canadian chanteuse, is back with her glorious new single '1234', tipped by Music Week, Record of the Day and the Hit Sheet to be the song which takes Feist to a whole new level.

‘1234’ is a jangly teen dream paean, fuelled with a festival of sounds that spell summer. Trumpets, piano solos and a fully fledged chorus all bounce to Feist’s haunting voice making ‘1234’ a soon-to-be classic. This is the track to propel Feist into the mainstream, with huge support on all levels - Marketing, Promotionally, LIve - to ensure her crossover in July is secured, winning over peoples hearts with her uniquely enchanting voice.

The video for ‘1234’ is a burst of genius from Patrick Daughters who has also directed videos for artists such as the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Shins, the Futureheads and Kings Of Leon. Shot in one take, it has been cleverly choreographed to create a quirky stream of colour and movement, and has just won the coveted 'International Video Of The Year' Award at the CADS.

The CD format comes backed with the fantastic 'Fightin' Away The Tears' with Mocky, a fan favourite which she always plays live to a rapturous response.

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.

'I wonder if it's worth getting a skip?'
