The Pigeon Detectives are massive apparently. Here's their reissue of 'I Found Out' which is a new version for your ears. Massive indie rock to shout from the terraces while you're throwing beer and pies at people you don't like the look of. Possibly a tad unfair there maybe? Hey I can finally understand why this band are as big as they are as this is great for what it is. It's enormous... absolutely enormous. I've never heard a bigger sounding record in my life. About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
