What the label says:

Debut album from hotly tipped Glaswegian three-piece Frightened Rabbit. Though the past year has seen Frightened Rabbit finally step into public view, with tour dates and a limited availability of their debut album, the past year or two have largely been about the band quietly, commitedly honing their sound and cultivating their art. That’s all set to change, with the release of the band’s debut single ‘Be Less Rude’ which precedes the widespread revamped and expanded release of ‘Sing The Greys’. An unconventional three-piece with a clearly defined personality, and a gift for being able to nail a near perfect pop song, Frightened Rabbit convey candid tales of ordinary folk with a wry, acerbic wit via an eloquent, emotive, modern garage-pop aesthetic. An awesome, charismatic live band, Frightened Rabbit are also fond of touring, and they will doing shows in the UK through November and for the rest of the year..

About the humble CD:

The CD is essentially a small portable face mirror which has an extra feature of being able to play music (through a thing known as a CD player). These CD's are a modern invention hence them being all shiny and digital. They can hold about 80 minutes of music and apparently are indestructible as you can smear jam on them and they still play (not as nourishing as toast mind you but when you're hungry.....). They sound crystal clear and are tiny convenient things. They lack the charm and warmth of their old analogue counterparts but their portability, convenience and ease of being duplicated make them a perfect thing of a thing for most folks. Jewel cases are the worst thing ever though and they really need to stop.
