Having formed in 2005, the Ipswich five-piece wrote their first songs and began to create their trademark indie/electro/pop sound. Two hundred gigs later, their electrifying live stage act has seen Rosalita score a reputation as one of the hottest bands on the circuit. Rosalita were recently winners of Channel 4's 'Road To V' competition and secured the opening slot on the Channel 4 stage at V 2007, appearing alongside the Foo Fighters, Babyshambles amongst others. About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
