What the label says:

The name Onra might not mean that much to you but that will soon change. 'Chinoiseries' is
the finest instrumental, sample heavy hip hop beats album to hit the racks since Dilla's Donuts.
Chopped into thirty two segments, it hits the psych-funk grooves like a house party hosted by
Andy Votel and hits the funk button like Oh No's Oxperiment. This genuinely is a massive
album. Words from the artist - "I started this project in August 2006 when I got back from a trip
to Vietnam, the land of my grandparents. As a vinyl junky I really could'nt come back to France
without bringing back some wax. After hours spent riding on a motorbike through the Saigon
streets a taxi finally helped me find some Asian records. I almost felt like an explorer discovering
forgotten treasure. I bought 30 vinyls, most in a poor condition, went back to the crib and
started making beats with material that I wasn't used to..."
