What the label says:

'Go Out Tonight' is the 10th solo album from Paul Haig.
Its release will be supported by his first full live performances since 1989.
The positive reaction to 2007's 'electronic audience' (4**** Uncut) was followed by Paul Haig writing and recording his new album in acreative burst
toward the end of 2007. 'Go Out Tonight' explores familiar themes of alienation that has stalked his career. His dark view of the world all started back in 1979, just in case you missed the mordant irony of 'The Only Fun in Town', the only 'complete' Josef K album to be released. This thread continues through this, his 10th solo album. 'go out tonight' could be subtitled the many sides of Paul Haig as the collection brings together the styles, genres and subject matter Paul has been exploring throughout his career. For fans of : Josef K.

About the humble CD:

The CD is essentially a small portable face mirror which has an extra feature of being able to play music (through a thing known as a CD player). These CD's are a modern invention hence them being all shiny and digital. They can hold about 80 minutes of music and apparently are indestructible as you can smear jam on them and they still play (not as nourishing as toast mind you but when you're hungry.....). They sound crystal clear and are tiny convenient things. They lack the charm and warmth of their old analogue counterparts but their portability, convenience and ease of being duplicated make them a perfect thing of a thing for most folks. Jewel cases are the worst thing ever though and they really need to stop.
