‘Real Emotional Trash’ is Stephen Malkmus’ fourth solo record, and his second with The Jicks. The Jicks line up now includes Sleater Kinney and Quasi drummer Janet Weiss.    ‘Real Emotional Trash’s sound is more solid thanks to the new strong girl rhythm section.
