Neon Neon is the artist name for the combined musical powers of Los Angeles based producer Boom Bip and Super Furry Animals main man and solo star Gruff Rhys
‘I Lust U’ is an ice cool, 80’s inspired lovelorn duet between Gruff and up and coming Welsh starlet Cate Le Bon.
Both ‘I Lust U’, and parent album ‘Stainless Style’, are highly imaginative slices of conceptual power-pop inspired by the incredible life of playboy automobile impresario, John DeLorean (The maker of the car in ‘Back To The Future’ / busted for cocaine dealing / burnt down his factory / dated Raquel Welsh amongst other supermodels).
‘I Lust U’ is released a week ahead of the album on a limited 7” picture disc (1500 copies), a remix 12” and on download. It follows Neon Neon’s two sold out, limited 12” picture disc releases, ‘Raquel’  and ‘Trick For Treat’.   The single is accompanied by a highly imaginative video shot in LA featuring Boom Bip and Gruff Rhys alongside some of the album guests. Remixes comes from Hot Chip, the hotly tipped Heartbreak and Sinden’s label mate Duke Dumont.
