Oh. I asked if I could review Black Kids and now here we are. It's radio indie pop but done very, very well. Swirling euphoric keyboard, baggy drums, air punching vocals, Go! Team cheerleader backing vox, classic ad-libs like mid 80s Cure, this is an absolutely great song. It makes me think a little bit of late period James crossed with New Radicals. I can see why there's a buzz about these as 'I'm not gonna teach your boyfriend how to dance with you' is an iresistable slice of youthful Springtime joy that is guaranteed to put a grin on anyones face, and get this. i think it's got staying power.
