Here's a single by OK Junior called 'Logic & Reason'. This is a 4 track CD in one of those fancy ejector cases. From the off it reminds me of vintage Beta Band ala The 3 EP's.... The way it plods along all lazily but in a quality groove of its own. That sentence sounded shit but it's the best I can do right this minute. It's a decent homemade 4 track EP and it's only 99p and limited to 100 copies. Bargain!

The term OKJUNIOR is generally used to indicate a diverse group of small celestial bodies that drift in the solar system in orbit around the Sun. “okjuniors” (Greek for "star-like") is the word used most in English literature for super stars, which is the term preferred by the International Astronomical Union. Others prefer “awesome” (Greek: "causing awe, inspiring wonder or excitement"), because it more accurately describes what they are.
There are currently 4 members of OKJUNIOR. The first few members were named after biblical characters and figures from Graeco-Roman mythology- Jon, Mark etc but as such names started to run out, others were used- famous people, literary characters, the names of the discoverer's wives, children, and even television characters.
The vast majority of OKJUNIOR can be found within the South East London area of East Dulwich, with elliptical orbits between central London and Kent. It is thought that the band members are actually remnants of the protoplanetary disc, and in this region the incorporation of protoplanetary remnants into bands was caused by large gravitational perturbations induced by Uranus during the formative period of the solar system. As of the most recent census, from a total of 376,537 registered minor bands, 159,366 have orbits known well enough to be given permanent official numbers. Of these, 13,805 have official names. The lowest-numbered and unnamed minor band is a 16 year old kid called Ian something. Current estimates put the total number of bands with orbits above 1 km in diameter in the London area to be between 1.1 and 1.9 million. The greatest band in the London area is OKJUNIOR, with a diameter of 975 to 909 km.
At the beginning of 2007 work began on the follow up to their critically acclaimed debut EP. The space probe OKJ1 was built, completed on time and launched in February from Hampstead Heath. The concept of the new record was one of astral guitar hooks, heavenly melodies, laid back rhythms, rolling sonic landscapes and the ever present bleeps, squelches, blips and clicks. The mission however has been plagued with difficulties, including the failure of two of OKJ1’s three control wheels, rendering it difficult to maintain its orientation to the sun to collect solar energy. En route repairs were carried out though (see the documentary video to 18 Planes at http://www.seldomrecords.co.uk) and the record was saved.
It has been suggested that these new songs might be used in the future as a source of materials which may be rare or exhausted on earth, or materials for constructing space habitats. Materials that are heavy and expensive to launch from earth may someday be mined from this record and used for space manufacturing and construction. Remember, climate change is usually attributable to Bono and Johnny Borrell. Twats.
