The Explorers Club are a new signing to the Dead Oceans label. I've not heard the new album yet which has just arrived (no time to fart here today) but the 7" got a quick spin and it sounds just like The Beach Boys. Which period Beach Boys? The period before they started taking drugs and getting interesting. I feel like I'm in the wrong era all of a sudden. I might have to cover the office floor is sand and get all annoyed cos I hate getting sand in my shoes. 'Do You Love Me is 7" only.
