I Need A Life
So Long, Tadpole

Infectious Canadian indie punk; already with Radio 1, MTV2 and BBC 6Music.  ‘I Need A Life’ is the follow up to Born Ruffians’ debut single ‘Hummingbird’ and is another infectious slab of fast-paced indie punk.   ‘Hummingbird’ was Colin Murray’s Record Of The Week on Radio 1, as well as receiving spot plays from Zane Lowe, Steve Lamacq (Radio 2) and Queens Of Noize (6Music), amongst others.
Born Ruffians have already done sessions for 6Music (Queens Of Noize) and XFM (John Kennedy).
Formats backed with a stripped down version of ‘Hummingbird’ and a new non-album track. The 7” format will be on red vinyl.

About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.

'adventure... excitement...a Jedi craves not these things.'
