I reckon this band are a cut above the majority of indie gear which pummels my ears on a daily basis. Oh yes it's called Red Socks Pugie and it's the third track from their debut album. I've no idea what a pugie is... I don't think i want to know. Ant has just cried out it's 'well oxford!' Nice jerky poppy gear with wibbly guitars. The drums in this rule.... you don't really hear many original drum beats these days but they've somehow cobbled together a rhythm I've not heard played before. Another decent single from Foals. About the humble CD single:

Another digital format and even though they can hold 80 minutes of information (like a CD album would) record companies only fill up a small portion of the disc. Sometimes only 1 or 2 tracks on there totalling 5 minutes or so. It's like going to a restaurant and getting a plate of food with 2 green beans on and wondering where the rest of your meal is. Sometimes they're lovingly packaged though and when the music is good then you're into a winner. Also you get videos on there sometimes which you can watch on your computer. That is excellent.
