Does It Offend You, Yeah? continue on their seemingly unstoppable rise into the mainstream with "Epic Last Song", their first chart eligible single. With radio 1 and xfm network playlists,  plus support from the music TV stations, the bands is now getting the media recognition that their thousands of fans have been moshing for since last year.

Released in March, the debut long player ‘You Have No Idea What You’re Getting Yourself Into’ was a potent genre-defying brew. Since showcasing the album on the NME Awards tour and more recently on their own headline dates across the UK, new single Epic Last Song has proved to be a firm favourite with fans (currently 13000 on the official database!).

In stark contrast to previous singles ‘Rockstars’ and ‘Let’s Make Out’ – DIOYY? continue to surprise us with new single galactic tidal wave of a pop tune. When James’ distant vocals crescendo over muted guitars “Baby, baby, I’ve loved you a long time and grow happy to know you’re all mine,” you’re left wondering why this is the first time DIOYY?s frontman has exercised his vocal strengths to their full extent.

Formats include cut out robots (as seen in the video) on the 7" inner sleeve, live fave b-side "The Thing" plus mixes from Jackbeats (W10 Garage!) and hot disco mixers du jour, Lifelike

About the humble 7":

The humble 7" is the smallest of the vinyl formats (not including the ridiculous 5") and it's the perfect medium for transporting a couple of new songs by up and coming bands straight into your ears. They're fun and they take up less space in your house than something bigger would. They come in a plethora of exciting colours and fantastical packages, and you can fit about 14 minutes onto one 7". You may have to get up every few minutes to put a new record on but think of the exercise. Don't forget every record you buy plays at least 2 speeds (depending on your stereo) and you need to play all records on all speeds to get the maximum joy from your purchase.

'Seriously, it was an Abba carrier bag.'
